The Regional Materials Recovery Facility located at 4571 Highway #3, West Green Harbour, is a transfer station that accepts separated construction and demolition waste, yard waste and scrap metal items.

$60.00 per tonne for Construction and Demolition Debris
*Minimum tip fee of $3.00 on all construction waste*
Methods of Payment Available
Cash, cheque and debit are accepted on site. Customers may make an application to the Municipality for set up of a charge account.
The following acceptable items must be separated into the following streams:
- Wood and Wooden Furniture
- Shingles
- Gypsum board/drywall, Plaster
- Vinyl/plastic building materials, carpeting, built up roofing, ceiling tiles, vinyl flooring & linoleum, wiring, lighting fixtures, fibreglass and styrofoam insulation.
Effective on October 1st, 2020, The Regional Materials Recovery Facility (C&D site) will no longer be accepting tree stumps, or brush that is bigger than 6 inches in diameter. For more information on proper disposal please contact Ryan Jamieson, 902-875-7026.

Metals are also picked up at curbside during Spring and Fall Metal Collections.
